Harry Sherriff is a writer-director based in London.
He is a graduate of the Directing Fiction course at the National Film & Television School, where he was awarded a BAFTA and Warner Bros. Scholarship.
Harry’s first two films at the NFTS, Date With Death and Jeremy: A Nightmare have played BIFA, BAFTA and OSCAR-Qualifying festivals, with the latter winning Best Postgraduate film at Bolton Film Festival.
His graduate film, Jester, about a depressed Jester who goes on a quest through plague-ridden England, stars Adrian Schiller (The Last Kingdom) and Carly-Sophia Davies (The Eternal Daughter). The short had its World Premiere at Palm Springs Shortfest.
Harry’s debut feature, MISPER, had its World Premiere at the Edinburgh International Film Festival in August 2025. It went on to win Best UK Feature at the Manchester Film Festival and was selected as the Closing Night film at the Maryland Film Festival, as part of a festival run that also included the Dallas International Film Festival and Chattanooga Film Festival.
He is a member of Directors UK and is currently mentored by Will Sharpe.
Harry is currently preparing his second feature, a horror film set to shoot later this year.
